for our mothers, both Laurence and mine.
for my sisters-in-law, the mothers of our wonderful nieces and nephews.
for the nieces who are raising very fine great nieces and nephews (I may be biased).
for our grandmothers, for Aunt Irene, Mama Akinyombo, and all the godly women who mothered me and are now waiting in Glory.
for the great-nieces and nephews and all the littles in my life, including Olivia, Thomas, and Willow at Sugar Hill Mission.
for the young men who lived with us and were the cause of some sanctification and with whom we made many good memories.
for all the youth with whom we’ve shared pleasant together times in this city.
Tim, Ethan, Jamin, and Carson, thank you for the steaks, asparagus, fries, and pies last evening. It was a Mother’s Day meal to remember!
Though I never had children of my own, I am richly blessed. Thank you, God!
